found the anime i was looking for after YEARS using the screenshot search omg

ok so i've been trying to find this one anime for literally 3 years. all i remembered was a girl with blue hair on a rooftop at sunset and some violin music. tried google reverse image search, asked on reddit twice, nothing worked lol finally uploaded my screenshot here and the ai got it in like 2 seconds — it was Your Lie in April. i literally cried a little ngl has anyone else used this feature? cause it's insane

не мог вспомнить название аниме которое смотрел в детстве. помнил только одну сцену: рыжеволосая девочка с луком стреляет в заснеженном лесу, и какая-то очень грустная музыка загрузил скриншот сюда и ИИ нашел за пару секунд. тоже попробовал поиск по описанию на русском — тоже работает нормально кто ещё пользовался этими функциями?

ça fait 2 ans que je cherchais un anime que j'avais vu gamin. je me souvenais juste d'une fille avec des cheveux rouges et une épée dans une forêt enneigée, et d'une musique super triste j'ai uploadé un screenshot et l'IA a trouvé en quelques secondes: c'était Escaflowne. j'ai failli pleurer lol vous utilisez aussi la recherche par image? parce que c'est franchement incroyable

ずっと名前がわからなかったアニメをやっと見つけました。覚えてたのは「青い髪の女の子が屋上に立ってる夕焼けのシーン」だけで、タイトルが全然思い出せなくて。 ここのAI検索にスクショをアップしたら数秒で「四月は君の嘘」って出てきた。感動した 説明文での検索も日本語で使えるし、かなり精度高いと思います

tested the description search with 10 anime — here's how it did

been curious how good the 'describe it and find it' feature actually is so i spent an afternoon testing it with increasingly obscure titles. here's my results: "mecha show where a depressed teenager pilots a giant robot and fights angels" → evangelion ✓ "isekai where mc gets reborn as a slime and builds a civilization" → tensura ✓ "psychological thriller, detective + a god who can kill by writing names" → death note ✓ "cooking battle school where defeats = losing your clothes" → food wars ✓ "two brothers use alchemy, one lost his body" → fmab ✓ got 9/10 right, the only one it missed was a really obscure 90s OVA that even reddit couldn't name lol tldr: it's really good, way better than i expected
