been thinking about what makes an opening actually good vs just decent. for me it needs to: set the right tone for the show, have at least one moment that syncs perfectly with the music, and be rewatchable even after u finish the series my top 3: 1. Guren no Yumiya (AoT s1) — pure hype, you can feel the stakes in every second 2. Unravel (Tokyo Ghoul) — the slow build mirrors kaneki's breakdown 3. Tank! (Cowboy Bebop) — sets the whole vibe in 90 seconds what are yours and what makes them work for u?
